AT FIRST I WAS A LITTLE INSECURED ABOUT ORDERING FROM A CHINESE WEBSITE, BECAUSE OF EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE WEB. BUT I FIGURED THAT NIKE SHOES ARE MADE IN ASIA, MOSTLY IN THAILAND, INDONESIA AND CHINA, SO I SAID LET'S TRY IT. PRICE FOR THE NIKE AIR MAX 360'S WAS ATTRACTIVE AND THE PICTURES LOOKED GOOD. I RECEIVED THE ITEMS FAIRLY FAST (ABOUT A WEEK FORM ORDERING VIA CHINA'S POST OFFICE MAIL). MY FIRST BAD IMPRESSION WAS WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE: OUTSIDE REGULAR BROWN BOX A LITTLE SMASHED, I SAID, WELL IS NORMAL FOR COMING ALL THE WAY FROM CHINA. INSIDE, ANOTHER BOX, BUT THAT WAS THE FIRST SURPRISE, NOT A NIKE BOX, BUT A cheap uggs GREY, GENERIC BOX THAT WAS COMING APART. THE SHOES INSIDE WERE WRAPPED IN A SHINY, CRISPY, TRANSPARENT PLASTIC FILM. OPENED THEM AND THE SHOES LOOKED FAKE AT FIRST SIGHT. NO NIKE BRAND ANYWHERE IN THE SHOE, EVEN THOUGH THE SWOOSH LOGO COULD BE SEEN ON THE SIDES AND BOTTOM, AND DIFFERENT INSCRIPTIONS OF AIR MAX 360 COULD BE FOUND THROUGHOUT THE SHOE. THE MATERIALS WERE ALSO A LITTLE WEIRD: THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A RUNNING SHOE, THEREFORE IT SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE. BUT IT SEEMED TO BE MADE OF PLASTIC, AND LOOKED MORE LIKE A SOCCER SHOE. THE SOLE WAS STIFF AND SEEMED ALSO TO BE MADE black friday uggs OF PLASTIC INSTEAD OF RUBBER. USED THEM ONCE FOR A 4 MILE RUN, MY KNEES WERE SORED AS WELL AS MY FEET. COULD IT BE BECASUE THEY ARE STILL NEW? WE'LL SEE IN THE NEXT RUNS, BUT I DOUBT THEY WILL GET BETTER. AGAIN, THEY MAY LOOK LIKE THE REAL THING, BUT I THINK THE MATERIALS ARE NOT RIGHT.
BUT THE WORST PART IS YET TO COME: I WROTE GOXURY ASKING FOR AN RMA TO RETURN THE SHOES AND NEVER GOT AN ANSWER. CALLED MY CREDIT COMPANY AND DISPUTE THE CHARGE. SENT AN EMAIL REQUESTING THE RMA AND NO ANSWER EITHER) AND THEN THE BIG SCAM WITH THE DUPLICATE CREDIT CARD. DO NOT BUY FORM THESE PEOPLE!!! FAKE AND A SCAM, EVERYTHING YOU HEARD ABOUT CHINESE WEBSITES SEEMS TO BE TRUE.
I am always skeptical about ordering items online due to the return policies just in case. I took a shot and ordered from shoeset back in sept. I ordered the Nike 2009 Airmax and paid 69 and some change for them. The blk and blue were out of stock and they suggested another color. I went ahead with my 2nd choice and they came back and said that was out of stock. I asked for a refund and miraculously, they had found me a pair that was previously out of stock. All of my correspondence was done through email which I felt was very bad customer service because, there was no number to dial. It took me to threaten with asking for a full refund and telling them that they were probably a scam to get things done. I received my shoes a week later which was good. But it took me almost 2 weeks from initial order to get it all settled. The shoes can fool people, the comfort is the same but I don't think it's authentic Nike material. I worked out in them and so far good.
